Description
The Labrador Retriever was bred to be both a friendly companion and a useful workhorse. It found its first use as a fisherman’s helper: pulling nets, fetching ropes and bringing fish from the cold North Atlantic. Today’s Labrador Retriever is as good-natured and hard-working as his ancestors. Today the Labrador works as an assistance dog for the disabled, show, search and rescue dog, among other things.
