Description

With improved organisation, supply, and training, by 1943 the Indian riflemen are now the equal of their British comrades, often showing an enthusiasm for the fighting not seen in their more conservatively natured British brothers-in-arms.
Each Rifle Squad has a Bren or the similar looking Vickers-Berthier light machine-gun, as well as rifles and grenades.
Like the British riflemen, the Indian Army platoons also had a 2” light mortar and a Boys anti-tank rifle in each platoon.
