Used Hornby R2989XS LMS “Dutchess Of Atholl” Princess Coronation Class w/Box
This OO gauge steam locomotive is in Very Good COndition from a smoke-free home/collection. The separately-fitted parts are not included. The front left pilot wheel’s tire has come loose, and will not slip back on. The original DCC decoder has been swapped for a 21-pin type. Custom sounds have been installed (paperwork included). This item is tested and found to be a good runner in both directions. The start-up/slow-down speeds have been elongated, and it takes a good 10-20 seconds for the engine to get up to speed. There are no issues with the locomotive once it’s in motion. Even with a CV8 reset on the decoder, we could not get the sounds to work. There may be a wiring issue from the motherboard to the speaker. This item is stored in its original packaging.
